First You need to acquire and download the license.

  1. Create a Graebert Customer Account:

  1. Create an Organization:

    • After logging in to the customer portal, navigate to the Admin Space.

    • Create an organization for your company or organization.

  1. Obtain a Permission Key:

    • You'll need a valid permission key to proceed.

    • If you already have an organization, add your permission key under Organization → Products.

    • Note: Press the yellow button twice. The first press validates, and the second adds the key to your Products list.

  2. Assign Permissions:

    • Under Organization → Permissions, assign the ARES Kudo Server permission to your personal account.

  3. Install ARES Kudo Server License Manager:

  4. Run License Manager:

    • Launch the ARES Kudo Server License Manager after installation.

  5. Login to Your Account:

    • From the License Manager, log in to your Graebert account.

  6. Acquire and Manage License:

    • Once logged in, acquire and manage your ARES Kudo Server license as needed.

you need to install The Ares kudo kudo server by following the steps.

Download Kudo Installer:

  1. Install Package:

    • Follow the installation process.
      During installation, specify the following parameters:

      • Http Address: The IPv4 address the server allows connections from.

      • Http Port: The port the server listens to.

      • Deploy Path: The URL endpoint where the server is available.

    • Default parameters:

    • Example: Specifying a deploy path like /editor will result in the server being available at http://localhost/editor.

  2. Modify Service Settings (Optional):

    • After installation, modify service settings by editing {installDir}\ARESKudoServerService.xml.

    • Restart the service after editing.

  3. Run Kudo Server:

    • The installation automatically registers and runs the Kudo server as a Windows service named ARESKudoServer.

    • Ensure the service is running and start it if necessary.

  4. Opening a Drawing File:

Start Kudo Server Manually:

  • You can manually run the server from the command line. Ensure that the service is not running.

  • The Editor.exe file is located at {InstallDir}\Kudo\Bin\editor.dir.

  • Refer to https://graebert.atlassian.net/l/cp/1gmbhprV for parameters that can be specified.
